Terms of service
Thank you for choosing Simply Settled. We provide personalized senior transition coordination for older adults and their families as they prepare for a move to senior living or another appropriate living arrangement.
Our role is to bring organization, guidance, and coordination to the many details involved in this process. These Terms of Service explain how our services work, what you can expect from us, and what we ask from you so that we can work together effectively.
By purchasing services from Simply Settled, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

Services outside the selected package may require additional fees. Simply Settled will communicate any applicable additional cost and obtain approval before beginning additional work whenever reasonably possible.
What Simply Settled Is Not
Simply Settled is a senior transition coordination service, not a moving company, real estate brokerage, contractor, cleaning company, home healthcare provider, attorney, financial advisor, or medical provider.
We coordinate and help manage the transition process and may connect clients with third-party professionals. Those professionals remain independent businesses responsible for the services they provide.
2. Your Personalized Roadmap
When applicable, Simply Settled will create a personalized roadmap based on the information available to us at the time of planning.
The roadmap may include recommended services, anticipated dates, milestones, vendor coordination, and other next steps.
Roadmap dates are intended to provide structure and direction. They are not guaranteed deadlines because certain portions of a senior transition depend on circumstances outside of Simply Settled's control, including vendor availability, home sale timing, moving schedules, senior living availability, client decisions, and unforeseen circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the transition moving according to the planned timeline and will communicate material changes when they arise.
3. Client Decisions and Approval
Simply Settled provides guidance, recommendations, organization, and coordination. Major decisions remain with the client, family, authorized representative, or other appropriate decision-maker.
These decisions may include, but are not limited to:
-
Selecting a senior living community
-
Deciding what belongings to keep, donate, sell, or discard
-
Selecting a realtor, mover, organizer, cleaner, or other service provider
-
Approving expenditures
-
Determining the timing of the move
-
Approving changes to the transition plan
Simply Settled will not make significant decisions on behalf of a client unless expressly authorized to do so.
The family makes major decisions, while our team handles the coordination required to turn those decisions into action.
4. Family and Authorized Representatives
The person purchasing services is responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring that Simply Settled is communicating with individuals who are authorized to participate in the planning process.
If multiple family members or representatives are involved, the client understands that differing opinions may occur. Simply Settled may coordinate communication and provide recommendations, but we are not responsible for resolving family disagreements or determining which family member's preference should control.
Where appropriate, the client may identify a primary family contact or authorized representative for communication and approvals.
5. Third-Party Vendors and Professionals
Simply Settled may recommend, introduce, coordinate with, or schedule third-party service providers as part of the transition process.
Third-party providers may include movers, organizers, cleaners, realtors, senior living communities, estate sale companies, contractors, transportation providers, and other professionals.
Unless specifically stated otherwise:
-
Third-party providers are independent businesses.
-
Their services are not performed by Simply Settled.
-
Their pricing, availability, agreements, policies, and performance are their responsibility.
-
The client remains responsible for charges owed directly to third-party providers.
-
Simply Settled does not guarantee a third party's availability, pricing, performance, licensing, insurance, or results.
We will make reasonable efforts to work with reputable providers and coordinate approved services, but we
